BUILT DURING QUEEN VICTORIA’S REIGN IN 1863
For over 150 years, 1863 has quite literally been a cornerstone of the village. The property is set in the heart of Pooley Bridge, a pretty village on the shores of Ullswater in the Lake District. It was built first as the village blacksmith and later it became the post office.
